Luckily, Chesterfield County and 90% of the Commonwealth, unlike Fairfax County, doesn’t ban guns in its parks. In Fairfax County this could have turned out very differently. A gun trumps a knife every time.
Note: as is usually the case, no shot was fired and the attacker fled the scene as soon as the victim’s gun came out. The power of a firearm to stop a violent attack is unmatched:

Registration and squadding is open for this excellent match, which is held every year by the Roanoke Rifle and Revolver Club to benefit VCDL. RRRC has been a wonderful supporter of VCDL for many years now, with VCDL membership being one of the options to qualify for RRRC membership.

The Smoking Gun website, brought to you by gun-grabber Michael Bloomberg, is attacking YouTubers who are providing content related to firearms. The aim is to get those YouTubers silenced. Truth and logic derail Michael Bloomberg’s tyrannical agenda. And obviously, he’s not a fan of the First Amendment. Come to think of it, with his stop-and-frisk policy when he was the New York City mayor, he’s not a fan of the Fourth or Fifth Amendments, either.
As to be expected, the website is full of lies, innuendos, and distortions. Gun YouTubers are accused of glorifying violence, spreading political extremism and white supremacy, and normalizing dangerous weapons.
The article’s author is hoping you won’t bother to check out the footnotes, as he is misrepresenting what they actually say.
For example, here is what is being said about, er, “white supremist” Colion Noir:
Noir has also published videos asserting the necessity of civilian-owned assault weapons, 67 attacking political opponents, 68 and advising viewers to carry guns anytime they leave the house. 69 In one video, Noir tells viewers, “If you live in America and you can legally own a firearm and you still don’t have [an AR-15]. Yeah, I’m just going to say it. You’re stupid.” 70
Everything Colion is accused of saying sounds correct and is good advice, with one exception: “attacking political opponents, 68”.
That sounds like he is physically attacking, or perhaps threatening, those who disagree with him politically. When you watch the video for footnote 68, Colion is merely using freedom of speech to point out the buffoonery of anti-gun politicians. No threats, no violence, just political free speech. Here’s the video, where Colion is calling out Minnesota governor Tim Walz:
