honorable mentions:

Mark R. Armentrout, running for sheriff in Radford, and Dan Farnsworth, running for Commonwealth Attorney in Charlotte both submitted candidate surveys and earned a pro-gun rating.  While the VCDL PA is not endorsing them, we would like to thank them for taking the time to answer the questions.

dishonorable mentions:

House District 14 encumbent Vivian Watts earned a survey grade of VERY ANTI-GUN, and her 0% voting record for 2025 reflects this.  District 50 candidate Trudy Bell Berry did slightly better, earning an ANTI-GUN grade.  She is running against incumbent Thomas C. Wright, Jr., whose 2025 voting score was 100%.

In local races, Harry F. Collins, Jr. also earned a VERY ANTI-GUN grade on his survey.  He's running for the Christiansburg Town Council.  Please "reward" these candidates by voting for and even campaigning for their opponents!

You can help in other ways as well.  We're working to establish a network of BOOTS-ON-THE-GROUND volunteers.  We need people to gather intel on local candidates and keep an eye on what our City Councils, Boards of Supervisors, School Boards, and other elected representatives at the local level are doing.  If you are able to volunteer for this important task, please reach out.
