1. Virginia Democrat Says You Don't Need A Gun to Stop a Mass Shooting, Just Sacrifice Your Body to Absorb all the Shots!

Nick Freitas destroys Democrat Delegate Garrett McGuire, AKA “Delegate Jackass” (see video), for his insanely stupid comments on the House Floor last Saturday:

And here are the pro-gun Delegates pushing back on the gun-grabbers, including those gun-grabbers who wanted to exempt themselves from the unattended-vehicle gun-storage restrictions they were about to pass.

Delegate Tom Garrett pulled no punches:

2. VCDL President Speaking at Chesapeake Summit on Saturday, March 21

I am speaking at the Emergency Virginia Conservative Leadership Summit on Saturday, March 21. The Summit’s topic is, “Overcoming Virginia’s Political Crisis.” The meeting is open to the public.

Time: The summit runs from 10am until 12pm

943 Canal Drive

Chesapeake, VA 23323

Other speakers include Bishop E.W. Jackson, Congresswoman Jen Kiggans, Nelson Velez with the Virginia Tea Party, Chuck Smith, and Mike Morisi with the Family Foundation.

3. Colion Noir Tears VA Senator Surovell a New One [video]

Senators Surovell and Salim get their clocks cleaned by Colion for all the baloney they spewed on the Senate Floor. (Be aware there is a small amount of colorful, but deserved, language in the video.)

4. The Civilian Disarmament Agenda Takes the Next Step in Rhode Island [video]

In Rhode Island, first they said, “you can keep your ‘assault firearms’, but you can’t buy new ones.” Sound familiar? Those are exactly the words from Senator Surovell on the Senate Floor on Saturday. Now RI politicians have a bill to make possession of those same ‘assault firearms’ illegal. Threatening confiscation of firearms protected by the Second Amendment is a really, really bad idea.

5. Second Amendment Sanctuary Update w/Action Item

Cumberland County

On March 10, the Cumberland County Board of Supervisors reaffirmed the County’s status as a 2A Sanctuary.

Town of Culpeper

On March 10, the Culpeper Town Council unanimously reaffirmed the Town’s status as a 2A Sanctuary.

Glouster County

On March 3, the Glouster County Board of Supervisors discussed reaffirming the County’s status as a 2A Sanctuary. They determined that there is no need to reaffirm their 2A Sanctuary status, as the one from 2019 is still in effect. That is not as good as just reaffirming, but it was issued as a public statement at least.

Town of Goshen

On March 10, the Goshen Town Council voted unanimously to reaffirm the Town’s 2020 2A Sanctuary Resolution.

Greene County Action Item

Member Doug R. reported that the Greene County Board of Supervisors failed to reaffirm their 2019 Second Amendment Sanctuary resolution. Instead, they offered a watered-down resolution.

If you live in Greene County contact your supervisor and tell them that you want Greene County, of all places, to issue a strongly worded 2A Sanctuary resolution, like they did back in 2019. Here’s the Supervisors contact information:

7. Reminder:  Virginia Forum Event Near Richmond on April 1

I will be on a Q&A panel at a Second Amendment event held by the Virginia Forum on April 1.

The event is called “Forged in Freedom; A History of American Guns.” David Harsanyi is the speaker that night.

Location:

Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center

2880 Mountain Rd

Richmond, VA 23060

From the event’s flyer:

David Harsanyi, senior writer at The Washington Examiner, nationally syndicated columnist, and co-host of the You're Wrong podcast, offers a sweeping and thought-provoking look at the role firearms have played in American history. In ‘Forged in Freedom”, Harsanyi explores how guns have helped preserve the nation’s religious liberty, economic independence, and cultural traditions for more than two centuries. Blending history, political insight, and cultural analysis, this talk examines how firearms became intertwined with American freedom, identity, and self-government—and why that legacy still matters today.

9. Reminder: Vote NO on Redistricting

The gun controllers are trying to gerrymander Virginia to steal votes from pro-gun areas. It is critical that you and everyone you know votes!

Early voting has started and voting ends on April 21st. Vote NO on redistricting!

10. Lunatic Norfolk Commonwealth Attorney Lectures Virginians on the 2A After Shooting in Gun-Free Zone

The ODU murderer had a felony conviction for trying to aid ISIS. All the federal and state gun laws didn’t stop him from getting a gun and killing one person and wounding two others at ODU, which is a gun-free zone. Gee, I’m shocked that a felon got a firearm illegally and he took that gun into a gun-free zone! Are violent felons no longer following the law?

https://www.wavy.com/news/local-news/how-did-shooter-in-odu-terror-attack-get-gun-he-used/

Here is the George Soros-backed Norfolk Commonwealth Attorney not blaming the murderer for his attack at ODU but blaming Republicans for lax gun laws! You cannot make this stuff up. The last thing on Earth this man should be is a prosecutor. What a disgrace:

Here’s more on the ODU attack and the brave ROTC students who stopped the killer. All that was available to them was a knife:

11. Virginia Congressman Introduces the Shall Not Be Infringed Act!

Pro-gun Virginia Congressman John McGuire has introduced the “Shall Not Be Infringed Act” that would permit suing the government should you be harmed by the misuse of a firearm while in a government mandated “gun-free zone.” Details here:

12. Wrap Up of Saturday's Gun-Rights Rally

The gun rights rally on Saturday was a success with around 2,000 attendees.

As always, being at a gun-rights rally is fun and exhilarating because of the wonderful, freedom loving patriots in attendance. There was lots of cheering and support for the roster of speakers. Antis were not an issue and GSL stickers were on everyone. Reporters from all three Richmond television stations were there taking video of the speakers and interviewing attendees.

As part of my speech, I urged everyone to attend VCDL Lobby Day on January 18, 2027. My mention of forthcoming VCDL lawsuits got a roaring response from the crowd, all of whom are fed up with the treachery in the Democrat-controlled General Assembly and want their rights restored.

A few pro-gun Delegates stopped by during a recess from the Floor: Erik Zehr (carried 4 gun-bills for VCDL), Tim Griffin, Delores Oates, Phillip Scott, Ellen McLaughlin, and Karen Hamilton. Congressman John McGuire was given a few minutes to address the crowd.

Hats off to Micah Goodman (https://www.instagram.com/micahgoodman/), who coordinated with some of the other social media influencers, for putting this event together.

Shout out to Magpul! Magpul donated a pallet of 30-round PMags, one of which was given away to all those who attended the rally! (Remember, all magazines that hold more than 15 rounds that you own before July 1 are grandfathered. I had just bought another 5 PMags from Palmetto State Armory, so I now have 6 new PMags.)
