Reminder:  Roanoke Rifle and Revolver Club/VCDL benefit match is THIS Saturday.  Registration information and more.

This Saturday, September 27, is the RRRC/VCDL benefit match! 

• Please arrive by 9:30 AM for briefing, with the match starting at 10 AM.
  
• This is a USPSA match being held on ranges A and B.
  
• The match fee is $25 cash (preferred) or check, payable at the match. Other donations will gratefully be accepted, too.
  
• If you sign up to be a VCDL member, or renew your VCDL membership, at the match, the fee is waved.
  
• Bring 200 rounds of ammunition to be safe.
  
• While you can register at the match, it is better to register ahead of time with the link below. The squads are filling up quickly.
  
• RRRC operates a COLD RANGE at all times. Please be sure your competition handgun is unloaded and either holstered or encased before exiting your vehicle. Handguns must always remain holstered, unless directed otherwise by a range officer. No magazines are to be inserted into the gun, even if the magazine is empty. Other loaded guns (such as a carry gun) should be left in your vehicle. If you are shooting a pistol-caliber carbine (PCC), it must have a chamber flag and no inserted magazine. A case/bag or cart is the preferred method of transporting PCCs.
  
• If your gun is in a bag, you can unbag and holster it in the “safe area,” but there is no handling of ammunition in the safe area.
  
• Appendix carry is NOT allowed. Regular OWB carry at 3 o’clock is preferred.
  
• There will be door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. You must be present to win. Details at the VCDL table.

Directions to the match:

The club physical address is 1305 Gun Club Dr., Hardy, VA 24101. You will turn onto a gravel road/driveway off Truman Hill Rd, proceed down that driveway about 3/4 of a mile, please watch your speed and dust on that road. You will then drive through an electric gate, once you pass the gate you will go down a hill, take the first left at the first range you come to at the bottom of the hill. Those are ranges A and B. There is parking just past the entrance to range A on the right. Or you can proceed up the concrete slab to range A and find parking there.
