2. Instructions for renewing your VCDL membership
For members who need to renew:
If you membership has expired, simply fill in the form at
VCDL.org/membership using your name as it is on your membership card (without any suffix like Jr., Sr., MD., etc.) and your email address associated with your membership account. The system should match to your account. IF YOU RECEIVE A NEW MEMBERSHIP CARD WITH A MEMBER NUMBER STARTING WITH LETTERS, please contact membership@vcdl.org, as you were not properly matched to your prior records.
If your membership has NOT expired, or if you just want to create a member portal account before renewing, please follow these steps:
- Visit VCDL.org and click the login link on any page
- Click CREATE ACCOUNT
- Enter your name exactly as it is on your membership card EXCLUDING ANY SUFFIX (Jr., Sr., MD, etc.)
- Enter your email that is associated with your membership account. If you are unsure what email we have on file, please contact membership@vcdl.org
- Create a password by following the prompts
- Check your email for the welcome email
- CLICK THE VERIFICATION LINK in the welcome email
You may now log into your member portal.
NOTE:
BEFORE YOU ENTER THE MEMBER FORUM THROUGH THE PORTAL you can set your forum screen name by clicking on your name in the top right corner. Select "Update My Info" and edit the "First Name" and/or "Last Name" fields. This will determine what name shows up in the member forum.
YOU CANNOT EDIT THIS ONCE YOU LOG INTO THE FORUM.
To renew through the member portal:
- Click the My Memberships tile
- Scroll all the way to the right and click the blue renew link next to the TOP membership
This will make your new membership term effective at the expiration of your current term. The Renew link will appear 60 days before your current membership is due to expire.
IF YOU DON’T SEE YOUR MEMBERSHIP HISTORY please email membership@vcdl.org or secretary@vcdl.org and we will research the issue.

Chantilly Gun Show November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, 2025:
Volunteer now to get your shift of choice.
As a volunteer at this show you will get free admission, for that day, if you volunteer to take a full shift. There are a limited number of inside table positions.
The show is for VCDL members to volunteer.
Unlike Lobby Day, children, friends, visiting guests, older parents, and grandparents cannot be brought along. We are limited in the number of passes that can be requested. Thank you for understanding.
