A win for vcdl/goa and another ca steps forward!
vcdl breaking news!
- VCDL/GOA Lawsuit Against the City of Winchester is OVER - With a WIN!
- There are Now SIX Commonwealth Attorneys Who Aren't Going to Enforce the "Assault Firearm" Ban and Carry Prohibition!
1. VCDL/GOA Lawsuit against the city of winchester is over - with a win!
Previously VCDL and GOA sued the City of Winchester over their park and permitted event gun bans and won, with Winchester exempting those areas from their gun-control ordinance.
VCDL and GOA then sued Winchester over their gun ban in city owned parking garages, which they insanely claimed were “sensitive places.”
Winchester just blinked and has now exempted parking garages from the ordinance, effective immediately. That lawsuit is now over, but we are still fighting several more. You can support the efforts using the donation links below.
Active VCDL/GOA lawsuits:
- “Assault firearm” ban and public carry prohibition
- City of Roanoke gun ban in parks and permitted events
- Gun ban in rest areas and ABC stores
- One handgun a month
2. there are now six commonwealth attorneys who aren't going to enforce the "assault firearm" ban and carry prohibition!
The Warren County Commonwealth Attorney (CA), John S. Bell, has now officially joined the list of CAs that have announced that they will not be prosecuting violations of the unconstitutional “assault firearm” ban and “assault firearm” public carry ban!
Here is his powerful statement: https://irp.cdn-website.com/e9819c27/files/uploaded/Non-Enforcement+Policy+Warren+County.pdf
Media coverage:
Here is the current list of Commonwealth Attorneys who are honoring their oath of office to protect the good people in their jurisdictions from unconstitutional infringements on their right to keep and bear arms. Remember them when they are up for reelection:
Phillip Blevins, Smyth County
Rob Cerullo, Powhatan County
Justin L. Griffith, Pulaski County
Kyle Kilgore, Scott County
Ryan Mehaffey, Spotsylvania County
John S. Bell, Warren County
These six exemplify the difference between those who are in government to serve the citizens of Virginia and those who crave power and dominion over us (Helmer, Surovell, Lucas, Salim, McGuire, etc.).
