And now there are twelve commonwealth attorneys! Sen. Salim's Disgusting Statement
More Commonwealth Attorneys have come on board! We are now at TWELVE!
Shenandoah County Commonwealth Attorney, Elizabeth H. Cooper, is not going to enforce the new unconstitutional AWB and AW carry prohibition!
Click here to see her statement.
Charlotte County Commonwealth Attorney, Daniel J. Farnsworth Jr. actually took an early position on not enforcing the new unconstitutional “assault firearm” laws. He did so back on May 21.
Click here to see his statement.
NOTE: If you, our members, don’t tell me of such things, I don’t know about them! If in doubt, please check with me to make sure I am aware.
In the last alert my fingers ignored by brain while typing and I didn’t put the “e” at the end of Clarke County. The list below has the corrected spelling.
I am expecting another two CA announcements in a few days.
Here is the current list of Commonwealth Attorneys who are honoring their oath of office to protect the good people in their jurisdictions from unconstitutional infringements on their right to keep and bear arms. Remember that they stood up for the Constitution and gun owners when they are up for reelection:
Leslie M. Fleet, Appomattox County
Daniel J. Farnsworth Jr., Charlotte County
Matthew E. Bass, Clarke County
John L. Lumpkins Jr., Goochland County
Phillip Blevins, Smyth County
Dayna K. Bobbitt, Patrick County
Rob Cerullo, Powhatan County
Justin L. Griffith, Pulaski County
Kyle Kilgore, Scott County
Elizabeth H. Cooper, Shenandoah County
Ryan Mehaffey, Spotsylvania County
John S. Bell, Warren County

Alternatively, you can give them this link, and they can download the document themselves:

If you want your blood to boil, look at what Senator Salim, patron of the “assault firearm” ban and an immigrant from Bangladesh, was quoted as saying in this article about the great Commonwealth Attorneys who are standing up proudly for the Constitution:
On May 29, 2026, Sen. Salim used an X post to address prosecutors who are standing against his ban, saying, “I know these Republican prosecutors see this as an opportunity for tough guy posturing and amateur constitutional lawyering, but ending the sale of assault weapons in Virginia isn’t something an individual prosecutor can do anything about.”
WTH? Our CAs are supposed to have a working knowledge of the Constitution, something they swore an oath to uphold! It’s Salim who is acting like a tough guy and who needs to read the Constitution and abide by it.
Anybody doubt that Salim is trying to turn Virginia into his birth country of Bangladesh? Yeah, no thanks, Salim. We aren’t going to let that happen.
