Thanks to Dave Adams with the Virginia Shooting Sports Association for passing this email to me. As stated in the last alert, the proposed ordinance is an improvement on current law, BUT it is still confusing as to where one can or cannot shoot.

Mr. Adams,
You asked to be advised when discussions will take place concerning
firearms restrictions in York County. I'm writing to let you know that
the Board of Supervisors will be conducting work session discussions
tonight on the firearms discharge issue. Work sessions do not include
public comment opportunities and no action will be taken tonight. The
material that the Board will be discussing can be viewed at the
